We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in the East Metro area. This role is responsible for ensuring all outgoing millwork products meet company quality standards, project specifications, and customer expectations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong eye for detail and interest in woodworking, manufacturing, or production quality.

 

Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector – Millwork (Entry to Mid-Level)
Location: East Metro, Minnesota
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time, 6am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Job Type: Evaluation to Hire

 

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and approve all outgoing millwork products prior to shipment
• Verify compliance with company standards, project specs, and customer requirements
• Perform detailed checks on:
• Materials
• Dimensions and measurements
• Joinery and assembly
• Finishes and overall craftsmanship
• Use measuring tools and visual inspection techniques to ensure accuracy
• Identify defects, damage, or inconsistencies in products
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues before shipment
• Maintain clear documentation of inspections and findings

Qualifications

• Previous experience in quality assurance, manufacturing, or millwork/woodworking preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read and interpret basic project specifications or blueprints is a plus
• Comfortable using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares, etc.)
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Reliable and able to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
