Human Resource Manager

Salary: $67K - $70K / year

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager for a large manufacturing in Clarksville, TN, the hours are Monday-Friday from 6:00am – 3:00pm but subject to change.  This position has a salary of $67,000 - $70,000 / year and is a direct hire position.  Candidate will manage 100+ employees.

Responsibilities:

• Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, and employee performance management
• Manage HRIS, payroll, benefits and 401k Plan system including adds, changes, terms
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, and conduct exit interviews
• Manage employee files and maintain compliance with HR policies
• Facilitate conflict resolution, and address concerns related to the work environment
• Conduct internal audits, and help enforce legal compliance with employment laws
• Participate in talent acquisition efforts, and identify qualified candidates
• Actively engage in ongoing manager and staff communication, ensuring a positive and productive workplace atmosphere
• With Director of HR, conduct regular analysis of HR metrics to inform decision-making, and improve HR processes
• With Director of HR, develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a supportive work environment
• Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures
• Attend interdepartmental meetings with other managers 

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Pays attention to detail
• Possess strong Time Management skills
• Able to multi-task
• Able to comply with OSHA & In-House Health rules and all company policies
• Capable of walking several hours a day
• Able to bend, squat, stretch, twist, or reach with the body, arms, and/or legs, lift at least 25 lbs., and make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists
• Able to work in a wet/hot dirty environment
• Willing to work overtime as needed
