Laundry Attendant Job Description

Job Summary

Our Client is looking for a Laundry Attendant responsible for washing, drying, and folding clothes, ensuring they are cleaned and maintained according to company standards. This role also includes sorting laundry, treating stains, and operating laundry machines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to fabric type and care instructions.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Treat stains and inspect items for damages or needed repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Monitor machine performance and report maintenance issues.
• Assist customers with operating machinery as needed.

Requirements & Skills

• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Knowledge of laundry machines, detergents, and stain removal techniques.
• Ability to stand for long hours and lift heavy laundry bags.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good customer service skills.

Work Environment

• Indoor setting with exposure to heat, steam, and laundry chemicals.
• Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
