West Bend metal manufacturing company looking for Brake Press Operators!

Key duties and responsibilities may include:

• Primarily responsible for the daily setup and operation of Cincinnati hydraulic CNC controlled press brakes in a just-in-time fabrication shop with some assistance provided.
• Set up and operate a hydraulic press or punch press for routine established work while selecting correct tooling with setup documents.
• Load, install and correctly set up the tools required with some assistance from a supervisor or a lead.
• Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
• Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system. Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.
• Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.
• Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level. Maintain performance log books on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have strong metal press forming and basic fabrication background.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydraulic press and/or punch operations including basic setup is desired
• Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Must be able to make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.

Job Specifications:

• Pay Range: $19-26/hr
  • $2 shift premium awarded once direct hired.
• Shift(s): 2nd or 3rd Shift
• Hours: M-F, 2pm-10pm or Sun-Th, 10pm-6am
