Senior Financial Analyst – Direct Hire

A growing and well-established manufacturing company in Schaumburg, IL is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their team. If you enjoy financial analysis, forecasting, and partnering with operations to improve results, this is an excellent opportunity for you. This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
• Analyze financial results, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations
• Develop and track KPIs to measure business performance
• Perform customer pricing and margin analysis
• Support sales analytics and reporting including: Backlog reporting, Margin analysis, Price and volume analysis, On-time delivery metrics, Trend reporting, Customer scorecards
• Support month-end close activities including accrual analysis and budget vs actual reporting
• Identify process improvement opportunities within financial systems
• Assist with finance projects and operational initiatives
• Perform additional analysis and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of financial analysis experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, forecasting, data analysis)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or CPA preferred
• Manufacturing or industrial industry experience
• ERP system experience (Epicor strongly preferred)
• Cost accounting or operational finance experience
• Capital project or ROI analysis experience
