Job Summary

This position supports the powder coating and wet paint process in a production environment. You’ll help prepare, coat, and finish parts while following company safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

• Hang and remove parts on the powder coat line (using a crane)
• Apply powder coating before parts go into the oven
• Perform wet painting on equipment and parts (MIL-spec standards)
• Mask and tape parts before painting
• Blow off steel grit after blasting
• Use basic hand tools
• Help assemble paint kits
• Track and record material usage (VOC)
• Troubleshoot basic paint equipment issues

What You Need

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Ability to follow simple instructions
• Comfortable using a computer (basic tasks like opening files)
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
• High school diploma or GED (or similar experience)
• 1–3 months of related experience is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

• Shop setting with indoor and outdoor work
• Exposure to dirt, grease, oil, fumes, and chemicals
• Moderate to loud noise levels
• Respirator use required (training provided)

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for most of the shift
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Use hands and arms frequently
• Occasional bending, climbing, or crouching
