Job Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by accurately receiving, handling, and shipping materials. This role requires attention to detail, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to operate equipment efficiently to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders
• Accurately prepare and ship outgoing orders in a timely manner
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment
• Operate a forklift to move, stage, and organize materials within the warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or discrepancies
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipments and inventory

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience required
• Prior shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Dependable with a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts
