Retail Associate – Pool Supply Store

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Pay Rate: $16/hour w/ opportunity for increase after review period.

We are seeking a Retail Associate for a busy Pool Supply Store who is customer-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in both retail sales and hands-on store operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and creating a positive in-store experience

Key Responsibilities

• Close sales with customers by recommending products and solutions that meet their pool care needs
• Identify and satisfy both known and unknown customer needs
• Build strong customer relationships through friendly, knowledgeable service
• Make pool care simple and easy for customers by providing clear guidance and product recommendations
• Serve as a trusted resource for accurate pool product information
• Meet and exceed customer expectations on every visit
• Perform water analysis and explain treatment recommendations to customers
• Handle chlorine filling safely and accurately
• Operate cash register and process customer transactions
• Complete daily store opening / closing procedures
• Receive shipments, stock merchandise, and maintain organized inventory
• Help keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked

 

Qualifications

• Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills required, including:
  • Multiples of 15
  • Addition
  • Subtraction
  • Multiplication
  • Division
• Able to swim
• Clean driving record
• Clean criminal background
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed
• Comfortable working in a retail environment with chemicals and pool supplies
