PCBA Assembler

Location: Fair Lawn, NJ
Pay Rate: $26/hour

Schedule: M- F 8am- 4pm

Summary

We are seeking a skilled PCBA Assembler responsible for gathering components and accurately populating subassemblies according to specifications, written and verbal instructions, or provided samples. This role requires hands-on SMT soldering experience and strong attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic systems, components, and parts
• Follow verbal and written instructions in a professional and effective manner
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and reports
• Clean parts thoroughly prior to assembly
• Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials as needed
• Position and assemble parts according to drawings or provided samples
• Perform SMT soldering tasks with precision
• Multitask in a fast-paced production environment
• Collaborate effectively within a team setting
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with procedures and regulations
• Follow G-Way and OSHA safety policies
• Use manual tools such as pliers, snips, and screwdrivers with precision
• Perform basic packaging tasks

Qualifications

• IPC-A-610G (J-Standard-G) Soldering Certification required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF component assembly
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
• Good eye-hand coordination
• Knowledge of electronic component identification (soldering test will be administered during interview)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to interpret safety rules and operating procedures
• High school diploma or equivalent
