Description: Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Yard Laborer for a locally owned custom sawmill in Eagle Point. This long-term opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and learning new skills in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in operating sawmill equipment and machinery
Stack and sort lumber by size and type
Load and unload materials
Perform general yard and shop cleanup to maintain a safe, organized workspace
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Support the team with various manual labor tasks as needed
Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Previous labor or sawmill experience is a plus, but not required
Strong work ethic and reliability
Steel-toe boots required
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Position is day shift Monday-Friday with some possible OT on Saturdays.
