Property Manager

Location: Mount Pleasant, SC
Pay: $20+ per hour, based on experience

 

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential apartment community. This role is responsible for ensuring excellent resident satisfaction, maintaining property standards, managing leasing and administrative functions, and supporting overall financial performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community
  • Manage leasing activities, including showings, applications, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs
  • Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
  • Handle resident concerns, requests, and conflict resolution professionally
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance operations to ensure timely repairs and property upkeep
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance
  • Manage rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and basic financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with fair housing laws, local regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate resident files and property records
  • Prepare reports and assist with budgeting and expense control as needed

Qualifications

  • Prior property management or leasing experience preferred
  • Applicants accepted with or without a Property Manager license
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with basic computer systems and property management software
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws is a plus
  • Reliable transportation and professional appearance required

Work Schedule (Required Availability)

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
