Job Title: 1st Shift - Packer- HEAVY

Location: Oakland, New Jersey 07436
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 
Pay Rate: $18.00

• Duties & Responsibilities:
   Monitor’s product quality frequently; reporting problems to mitigate safety issues
   Operates various pieces of equipment
   Reports any mechanical problems
   Operate the bulk filling equipment to fill the appropriate containers to the
  specific weight.
   Seals containers in the required manner
   Palletize containers using prescribed pattern
   Build totes and boxes
   Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities
  to improve processes
   Follows OSHA, FDA, GMP, HACCP and SQF guidelines
   Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
   Performs other duties as assigned

 

• Physical Requirements:
   Continually required to stand/walk
   Continually required to bend, stoop, kneel and reach
   Continually required to lift/push/carry items up to 60 pounds.
   Occasionally required to climb
   Continually required to work near moving mechanical parts
   Continually required to work in an aromatic environment due to the variety of
  spices we use
   Continually required to work in an aromatic environment due to the variety of
  spices we use
