Warehouse Technician

Salary: $22-26/hour

Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Warehouse Technician!

Position Summary: The Warehouse Technician supports field operations by ensuring all products, equipment, and vehicles are received, organized, and maintained to the highest standard. This role is critical in helping installation teams operate efficiently and deliver exceptional client experiences. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in organization and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, palletize, and organize inbound shipments
• Prep, kit, and stage materials for installation teams
• Load, unload, and pre-stage vehicles for daily operations
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accuracy
• Manage product returns, demo inventory, and storage areas
• Deliver products, demos, and materials to job sites or showrooms
• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments and process documentation
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and equipment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Assist with furniture assembly, modifications, and custom builds
• Support client pickups and rep/client-owned inventory
• Assist installation team as needed on-site
• Perform seasonal duties including snow removal and vehicle prep
• Stock warehouse supplies and maintain common areas
• Communicate system or operational issues to management/IT

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of warehouse experience or related environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 7:00am – 3:30pm

Pay:

• $22–$26/hour
