Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Forklift Operator!

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position is forklift-focused and plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly by safely loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate standard sit-down forklifts, including Yale and Mitsubishi models
• Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately
• Stack, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip forklift inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
• Report to the shift supervisor for daily assignments and workflow priorities
• Assist with emptying full containers and trash bins throughout the facility
• Monitor forklift and warehouse equipment condition and report maintenance concerns
• Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift operating experience required
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts required
• Ability to safely load and unload trailers in a warehouse environment
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and efficiency
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
• Forklift certification can be completed on-site

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 6am – 4:30pm

Pay:

• $19/hour
