Parts & Supplies Associate

Salary: $22-24/hour

Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Parts & Supplies Associate!

Position Summary: The Parts & Supplies Associate supports daily parts operations by assisting customers with identifying and purchasing the correct parts, maintaining inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving activities. This role works between the parts counter, showroom, and warehouse while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts and supplies
• Order parts and materials as needed to maintain inventory levels
• Restock and maintain showroom inventory displays
• Manage shipping and receiving of parts and equipment
• Provide customer service in person, by phone, and via email
• Read and reference manuals to identify correct parts for equipment
• Work between the parts counter, warehouse, and showroom as needed
• Assist rental operations when additional support is needed

Qualifications:

• Customer service experience required
• Shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Construction equipment or mechanical parts knowledge preferred
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds
• Strong communication skills and ability to assist customers
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals
• Valid driver’s license required
• Class A CDL preferred (+$2/hour)

Hours:

• Monday – Friday
• 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (1 hour lunch)
• 40–50 hours per week
• Closed Saturdays and Sundays

Pay:

• $22/hour
• +$2/hour with active Class A CDL
• 30-day review to evaluate job fit
• 90-day review with potential for direct hire/buyout
