Inventory Quality Coordinator

Located in Walled Lake, MI

Salary: $18-$20 per hour

The Company:

We have partnered with a local company that have been in business for over 73 years, they have the largest single trim and door shop in the Metro Detroit area. The ideal candidate would have a background in doors, wood, or management experience. 

Summary:

We are looking for an Inventory Quality Coordinator. Experience in interior doors and trim moldings. Experience in quality control and warehouse management. Experience in interior doors and trim moldings. Experience in quality control and warehouse management.

Qualifications:

• Check items as they are loaded on the truck. Check items as they are given to customers
• Inventory Cycle Counts. Check quality of pre-hung doors off production line 
• Backup for other assistant manager when they are out, including:
  Routing delivery trucks
  Unloading material from trucks
  Loading material on to trucks
• Recalibrate the door machines (not necessary, but definitely a plus)
• Recalibrate the saw machines (not necessary, but definitely a plus)
• Able to be quick at math: here are times people are holding heavy lumber and need answers quickly
• Able to read a tape measure
• Must have no physical restrictions
• There will be times they are loading and unloading trucks & lifting up to 100 lbs.

 Schedule: Monday - Friday 07:00am - 03:30pm
