Service Manager

Salary: $28.75 per hour

One of our clients in New Bedford has an immediate need for a full-time Service Manager to lead the Service and Repair Department and improve our customers experience. The Service Manager will head the service team and help clients maintain the investments they made into their building and branding.

Hours: Full time, Monday through Friday

Salary: $28.75 per hour

Service Manager Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth for the Service Department by developing and executing service sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming service requests via phone, email, and client service portals, ensuring responses within 24 hours.
• Evaluate client needs and deliver clear, accurate service rates, budget estimates, and scheduling expectations.
• Educate clients on repair, maintenance, and replacement options for aging or outdated signage and lighting systems, helping them make informed decisions.

Service Manager Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of experience in service management, customer service, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability and motivation to expand service sales and improve departmental profitability.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective problem‑solving skills with the capacity to respond quickly in dynamic situations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and web‑based systems.
