Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $16 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and industrious candidates for a temp to hire Shipping/Receiving position with a local Fabric Product Manufacturer. This position will pay $16.00 per hour, and the hours are Tuesday-Friday and Sunday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Shipping and Receiving duties
• Pick Orders, enter orders into computer system and check bills of lading.
• Apply labels onto rolls
• Cleanup work area and help others clean their areas if needed
• Perform other related duties as determined by management
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have forklift experience
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Able to work in a hot/non-climate controlled environment
• Able to stand, sit, stoop or walk for 8 hours on hard surfaces
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to push, pull, lift items from the ground, bend at the knee and waist, and reach above shoulders.
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE
