Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Now Hiring – Accountant for Growing Boutique in McAllen!

We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Accountant to join a growing secondhand boutique in the McAllen area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and wants a stable Monday through Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate will have previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage financial records accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and daily sales transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports
• Process invoices, payments, and track expenses
• Assist with payroll processing
• Monitor inventory-related accounting and cost tracking
• Support month-end and year-end closing tasks
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience required
• QuickBooks or accounting software experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Retail experience is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
