Our client in Wickliffe, OH is seeking a Maintenance Lead.

This candidate is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations during the 2nd shift to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations. This role leads maintenance technicians, troubleshoots complex mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinates repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance technicians during the 2nd shift
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Assign work orders, prioritize tasks, and follow up to completion
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and company standards
• Communicate shift handoffs and equipment status to management and other shifts
• Assist with installation, modification, and upgrading of equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Train and mentor maintenance personnel as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs, motors, conveyors, CNCs, or automated equipment a plus
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Compensation & Benefits

• $36.00/hr
• Benefits package available (medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc., if applicable)
• Stable hours on 2nd shift 2:15PM to 12:45AM M-Thur OT on Saturdays as Needed
