CNC Machine Operator

Located in Cheswick, PA

Salary: $20-$25/hr.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC press brake for sheet metal and light plate fabrication
• Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting table
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
• Select tooling and determine proper bend sequences
• Apply bend allowances and account for springback
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections
• Maintain quality, accuracy, and safe work practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC fabrication or machining experience
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement interpretation skills
• Experience working with carbon and stainless steel
• Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication (16 ga to 3/16”)
• Ability to work independently in a production environment
• Press brake experience preferred but not required (training provided)

• CNC program editing or offline programming experience
• Background in job shop or low-to-medium volume production
