Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist

Job Summary: We are recruiting for a local company looking for an Accounts Receivable/Billing Clerk.

 

Location: Pensacola

Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Pay: 20+ DOE

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 1 hour lunch

Responsibilities:

Invoicing-sales and service (confirming orders, adding freight, and verifying sales tax)
Billing factories and applying credit for returns and rebates
Emailing and uploading invoices into external customer portals
Communicating with customers
Collections
Preparing deposits (checks) and uploading into external bank site
Setting up EFT and wire payments
Running credit card payments
Maintaining up-to-date credit applications
Entering and maintaining customer sales tax exemption certificates in automated tax software Maintaining organized and accurate records through filing and reporting
Monthly close-out of AR
Various related duties that fall under AR/Invoicing

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

·         Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
