AZ Driver
Located in Sarnia, ON
Salary: $27.00 - $30.00/Hour
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight, equipment, and personnel to various locations while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, equipment, and personnel to designated locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (AZ) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and dispatchers
Wage: $27.00 - $30.00/Hour
