We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, low voltage systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The successful applicant will contribute to the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our manufacturing operations through expert electrical work and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to install and repair electrical systems
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment, including wiring, motors, and control panels
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment to perform installations and repairs
- Work with low voltage systems and ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations
- Assist in renovation and construction projects related to electrical infrastructure upgrades.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues before they lead to system failures
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure minimal downtime during repairs or upgrades
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar electrical role within manufacturing or construction environments
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for complex electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring, control systems, and PLC programming
- Background in renovation or construction projects involving electrical components is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced industrial settings
Handyman experience is considered a plus for versatile troubleshooting skills. This position offers an opportunity for qualified electricians to apply their expertise in a dynamic industrial environment while ensuring operational excellence through reliable electrical systems.
