Salary: $22.00 - $26.00/Hour
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sandblaster to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces by removing paint, rust, and other contaminants using abrasive blasting equipment. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship and follows safety procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces
- Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards
- Mix and load blasting materials as required
- Maintain and clean equipment regularly
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Assist with masking, coating prep, or other shop duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous sandblasting or industrial experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments (standing, lifting, confined spaces)
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protective equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with industrial coatings or painting
- Familiarity with different blasting media and techniques
Wage: $22.00 - $26.00/Hour
