Part Time Deburring Technician (A2210)

Salary: $17.00-$19.00

Job Summary:
Our client in Mentor seeking a detail-oriented Deburring Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal or plastic parts to ensure quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, steady hand coordination, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined parts using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications
• Use tools such as grinders, files, sanders, and deburring blades
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Communicate any quality or equipment issues to supervisors

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or deburring experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions is a plus
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]
