Job Title: Busser

Schedule: Five days per week including weekdays and weekends. 

Mon. Thru Fri: PM shift

Holidays and weekends: AM shift

Pay Rate: $22.50-$23.50 per hour

Description/Requirements: Our client is seeking Bussers to support a gourmet dining experience within a premium senior retirement community in San Rafael. This role is responsible for setting and clearing tables in multiple dining rooms, assisting with non-alcoholic beverage service, bread and butter service, and maintaining clean, organized service stations. Bussers play a key role in delivering attentive, courteous service while supporting servers and ensuring a welcoming dining environment for residents and guests. Employment is contingent upon passing a clean criminal background check.

 

Requirements:

• Set, clear, and reset tables in both dining rooms
• Serve non-alcoholic beverages, bread, and butter as needed
• Set up, maintain, and restock service stations
• Assist with maintaining dining room cleanliness and organization
• Safely operate and handle equipment such as serving trays, coffee and espresso machines, hot plates, and rolling carts
• Work collaboratively with the dining room and kitchen teams
• Must pass a clean criminal background check

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant, dining, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong customer-service skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or service items
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team
