Key Responsibilities

  •         Receiving and inspecting materials: Verify quantity, quality, and condition of incoming shipments; record discrepancies for management.
  •          Storage and organization: Label, categorize, and store items in assigned locations for efficient retrieval and inventory tracking.
  •          Inventory management: Maintain accurate records, perform cycle counts, coordinate stock replenishment, and report shortages.
  •          Material movement: Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment to transport materials safely throughout the facility.
  •          Order Placement: Effectively Order, maintain and track material coming in for production line.
  •          Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, stage, and deliver materials to production lines, shipping docks, or other departments.
  •          Production: Effectively follow work instructions, safety measures, and fulfil any manufacturing order upon receipt, with little to no supervision. Be able stay on task with zero to no phone usage.
  •          Maintenance equipment: Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  •          Safety compliance: Follow OSHA and site-specific safety procedures, including PPE use and ergonomics, to prevent accidents and manage hazardous material safely.
  •          Collaboration: Coordinate with supervisors, warehouse team, and other departments to optimize workflow and address discrepancies or damaged goods.
  •          Operational updates: Be able to track start and end dates for the production schedule and communicate perinate information for the job to ensure effective cross-chain communication.
  •          Data tracking: Be able to track Manufacturing orders for machine run time capacities to further help the production schedule to reduce expedited orders.



Requirements

  •          2-4 years of experience in related fields – (inventory control, warehousing)
  •          At a minimum a high school diploma, additional training in logistics or warehouse operations is advantageous.
  •          Experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse machinery.
  •          Knowledge of inventory systems and basic excel data entry skills to track and audit materials. Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects (50+LBS) and stand for extended periods.
