Job Description:

Express Employment is seeking a Dock Coordinator for an outdoor, physically demanding role. The position involves managing assigned dock doors, connecting trucks to the correct cables, linking trucks with conveyor belts, performing RF scanning, and accurately measuring freight with a tape measurer. You must also be physically able to climb in and out of containers. This is a rain-or-shine job, and training will be provided. MUST HAVE A WORKING PHONE WITH VERIZON SERVICE - NON NEGOTIABLE. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned dock doors safely and efficiently.

• Connect trucks to cables and conveyor belts.

• Properly back up trailers into assigned doors.

• Perform RF scanning and measure freight using a tape measurer.

• Follow all safety protocols.

• Complete tasks in all weather conditions.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth dock operations.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and use a tape measurer accurately.

• Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

• Experience in warehouse or dock operations preferred but not required (training provided).

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
