Make Ready Tech

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a temporary Make Ready Technician for a local apartment community. The Make Ready Technician will be responsible for ensuring apartments are move-in ready by performing general repairs, cleaning, painting, and light maintenance tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic repairs such as patching holes, replacing light fixtures, changing locks, and fixing minor plumbing or electrical issues.
• Paint and touch up walls, doors, and trim as needed.
• Clean and prepare vacant units for new tenants.
• Assist with light carpentry, appliance checks, and minor HVAC tasks under supervision.
• Report larger maintenance concerns to the property manager or maintenance supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance, handyman, or make-ready experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Reliable transportation required.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm

Pay: $17.00/hour
