Assistant Property Manager
Location: Harker Heights, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:30 (occasional Saturdays)
Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a well-established apartment community in Harker Heights. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations, tenant relations, and property maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day property operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, budgeting, and resident relations
- Support the Property Manager in ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Coordinate leasing activities, process applications, and maintain accurate records using AppFolio or similar software
- Assist in overseeing multiple aspects of property performance and occupancy
- Manage contracts, leases, and property-related agreements
- Provide professional and responsive customer service to current and prospective residents
- Conduct property inspections and help oversee maintenance projects
Qualifications
- Previous property management or related experience required
- Knowledge of leasing processes and housing regulations
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software preferred
- Strong organizational and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
- High attention to detail
