Job Title: Production Lab Technician
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Overtime may be required)

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Lab Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Fort Myers. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with chemistry lab or quality control experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for quality testing, chemical blending, in-process inspections, and ensuring all products meet strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products
• Measure, weigh, mix, and blend liquid and dry chemicals following approved formulas
• Conduct real-time testing during production to ensure consistency and compliance
• Complete batch records, lab reports, and production documentation accurately
• Verify incoming materials meet specifications and Certificates of Analysis (COA)
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or quality issues
• Operate blending, transfer, and production equipment safely
• Maintain proper labeling, traceability, and inventory control of materials
• Follow GMP, ISO, SOP, and safety procedures at all times
• Keep lab and production areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready
• Work closely with quality, engineering, warehouse, and supply chain teams

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or coursework in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related field required (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 2–4 years of hands-on lab or chemical manufacturing experience
• Experience with GMP, ISO, and quality systems preferred
• Strong knowledge of chemical handling, testing, and documentation
• Ability to read specifications, batch instructions, and SOPs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift materials, stand for long periods, and work in a production setting
• Comfortable wearing PPE and following strict safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
