Production Packaging

Located in Wilmington, CA

Salary: $19/hr.

Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring Production Packagers for great local company.  This is a great position for an individual with great attention to detail and accuracy.   

 

POSITION – Production Packager 
LOCATION: Wilmington
PAY: $19/Hr.

HOURS:  Mon -Fri 4:00am - 12:30pm, with lots of Overtime 

 

Responsibilities

• Fill packaging containers and palletize cases
• Operate filling equipment in a safe manner.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and company specifications
• Maintain established standards of productivity & quality
• Set up and break down production machinery as needed
• Adhere to all safety procedures including the use of PPE
• Keep production areas clean by performing housekeeping tasks as necessary

Skills

• Good math, reading, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic computer literacy required
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Steel toe shoes
• HS diploma or GED
• Work in a chemical manufacturing environment
