Job time 7:30am-4pm
2 15 minute paid breaks, 1 unpaid 30 minute lunch

Express Employment Professionals – Washington County is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician for a growing power systems company specializing in critical backup power solutions. This is a high-impact role supporting essential industries where reliable power is critical—including hospitals, data centers, banks, and manufacturing facilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
• Work on UPS systems, stationary battery systems, and telecom power equipment
• Diagnose and repair battery chargers and power systems
• Complete field wiring for batteries, chargers, and UPS equipment
• Use electrical test equipment (multimeters, etc.) to measure voltage, current, resistance, and more
• Complete detailed service reports and job documentation
• Provide professional, customer-facing service in the field

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
✔ Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology OR 3+ years technician experience
✔ Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuits
✔ Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
✔ Comfortable working in field environments and traveling to job sites
✔ Valid driver’s license required
✔ Ability to use electrical testing equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Hands-on field work in various environments
