Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician for a growing power systems company specializing in critical backup power solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical technician or service technician to work with essential power systems supporting hospitals, data centers, banks, manufacturing facilities, and other critical industries.

The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical troubleshooting, battery systems, UPS systems, power equipment, electrical testing, field service, or mechanical repair.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
• Service UPS systems, stationary battery systems, and telecom power equipment
• Diagnose and repair battery chargers and electrical power systems
• Complete field wiring for batteries, chargers, and UPS equipment
• Use electrical test equipment, including multimeters, to measure voltage, current, resistance, and other electrical values
• Identify electrical and mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs
• Complete detailed service reports, work orders, and job documentation
• Provide professional, customer-facing service at job sites
• Travel to customer locations as required

Field Service Technician Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Technology OR 3+ years of technician experience
• Basic understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and electrical systems
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Experience using electrical testing equipment preferred
• Comfortable working in field environments and traveling to job sites
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work independently while following safety and service procedures
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to perform hands-on electrical and mechanical work
• Comfortable working in a variety of industrial and commercial environments

Schedule & Breaks

• Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Two 15-minute paid breaks
• One unpaid 30-minute lunch

Pay & Benefits

• $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience
