Team Lead – Glass Recycling

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Team Lead to oversee second-shift operations in a fast-paced glass recycling environment. This role is responsible for leading a small team, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting daily operational needs on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support production team members during assigned shift
• Set daily priorities and coordinate workflow to meet production targets
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job training
• Ensure all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements are followed
• Perform quality checks on recycled glass materials and finished output
• Address and communicate production issues, machine downtime, or safety concerns
• Complete basic production reports and shift documentation
• Assist with coverage, staffing adjustments, and cross-training as needed
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to improve efficiency and workflow

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or production environment preferred
• Previous leadership or team lead experience is a strong plus
• Ability to lead by example in a hands-on, physical work environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic mechanical or equipment troubleshooting skills preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and ability to work second shift consistently
