Our client is seeking an Associate Accountant!

 

Associate Accountants work collaboratively with senior accountants and accounting managers to provide support for business, organization and individual tax and financial needs.

Essential Responsibilities:  

• Prepare business, organization and individual tax returns; work collaboratively with team to complete large client assignments
• Possess and apply foundational knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles, tax regulations and auditing standards
• Possess knowledge and understanding to leverage software tools and systems to efficiently process work while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements
• Provide support and response to client request and inquiries in a reasonable and timely fashion
• Strive to support and attain charge hour goals while understanding engagement budgetary constraints; may assume responsibility for smaller accounting engagements
• Participate in ongoing education and engagement opportunities within firm and within the community to grow working knowledge and develop contacts to build possible engagements
• Able to identify opportunities for additional service engagements for clients
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Provides regular and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications:

• Education:
• Associates degree in Accounting
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• License/Certifications
• CPA: Must pass or be in the process to attain CPA
