Material Distribution Operator (Overhead Crane – Computer Operated)

Day Shift & Night Shift Available | 12‑Hour Shifts | 7 Days On / 7 Days Off

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Material Distribution Operators for a local manufacturing facility. This is a highly responsible, safety‑critical role operating overhead cranes via multiple computer screens in a control‑room–style environment.

This position is ideal for individuals who are extremely safety‑minded, detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with technology in a heavy industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes using computerized control systems and multiple monitoring screens
• Safely distribute materials throughout the plant via overhead crane
• Continuously monitor equipment movement, system data, and plant conditions
• Call and document departmental overtime (heavy documentation required)
• Perform administrative and reporting duties related to material movement and staffing
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety procedures and plant policies

Position Requirements

• Strong computer and monitoring skills; ability to work across multiple screens simultaneously
• Prior heavy industrial or manufacturing experience required
• Proven safety record and high level of situational awareness
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts on a rotating schedule (7 days on / 7 days off)
