Position Overview – Manufacturing / Mechanical Production Associate
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual with strong attention to detail to join a clean, well-lit manufacturing facility producing belts for machinery. This role involves hands-on production work including measuring, cutting, grinding, soldering, and assembling components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with hands to manufacture machine belts and related products
• Perform soldering and assembly work (required)
• Operate conventional (non-CNC) lathes
• Measure materials accurately using calipers and other measuring tools
• Perform basic math including decimals and fractions
• Apply adhesive/glue and assist in bonding processes
• Cut and grind rubber materials safely
• Use power tools as needed
• Follow production and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Soldering experience required
• Assembly experience required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on work experience
• Ability to read measurements and perform math using fractions and decimals
• Must be comfortable using measuring tools (calipers, rulers, etc.)
• Prior experience in carpentry, flooring installation, construction, assembly, or similar hands-on trades preferred
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn power tools
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (English required)
• Comfortable working around rubber, adhesives, and fumes (ventilation system is in place)
• Must not have a dog allergy (dog present in facility)
• Reliable attendance is critical

Ideal Candidate Background:

• Flooring installation, carpentry, construction, manufacturing, or assembly experience
• Experience working with soldering, glue, adhesives, or manual tools
• Comfortable with repetitive hands-on production work

Work Environment:

• Clean, well-lit warehouse facility
• Strong ventilation system in place
• Organized and structured production environment
• Can be light to moderate physical work depending on task assignment
