Job: Environmental Laborer (a.k.a. Professional Tough Stuff Handler)
We’re hiring laborers to help clean up, tear down, dig up, and generally deal with the kinds of projects most people would rather not think about. This work supports environmental cleanup, construction, demolition, excavation, and industrial cleaning—often outdoors, often dirty, always important.
Full-time, part-time, and temporary positions available.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with construction, demolition, excavation, and industrial cleaning
- Clear debris, dig, grade, and make sites ready for work
- Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment without drama
- Set up and take down fencing, barricades, and signage
- Perform demolition and material removal as needed
- Follow safety rules like you actually enjoy going home unharmed
- Wear required PPE and not argue with it
- Assist with traffic control or flagging when necessary
- Take direction from supervisors and get things done efficiently
- Keep the jobsite clean enough that it doesn’t look abandoned
What You Need
- 40-hour HAZWOPER is a plus, but not required
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to figure things out
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly
- Good driving record
- Pass a background check and random drug/alcohol testing
- Willingness to work outside in whatever Montana throws at you
Schedule & Pay
- Typically Monday–Friday, 40+ hours per week
- Occasional nights or weekends depending on project needs
- Training is paid at $15/hour for one week
- After training: $22–$29 per hour, depending on experience
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- Prevailing wage rates apply where required
