Job Title: Assembler – Machine Shop

Position Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for supporting production in a machine shop environment by assembling components, preparing parts, and assisting with general manufacturing tasks. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a machine operator position in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules
• Inspect parts for quality and report any defects or inconsistencies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
• Support machine operators and other production staff as needed
• Handle materials, load/unload parts, and prepare items for machining or shipment
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring tools (calipers, tape measure, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Dependable with a good attendance record
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as needed
