Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal for a fast-paced, fully in-office legal environment. This is not a training role. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who can work independently, manage active litigation files, and support attorneys through all phases of the case lifecycle.

This role requires strong defense-side litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to think ahead in the litigation process without constant direction.

Must-Have Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
Strong defense-side litigation background required
Personal injury defense experience strongly preferred (case/billing defense side)
Must understand billing structures and be able to support accurate time narratives
No plaintiff experience will be considered
No family law, real estate, or employment law backgrounds

Responsibilities:

Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses
Manage litigation case files from intake through resolution
Independently manage cases and anticipate next procedural steps
Maintain and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and court dates
Handle high-volume document production and case organization
Support attorneys with billing narratives and documentation consistency
Ensure cases are progressing efficiently and accurately across all stages

Highly independent with strong judgment and decision-making skills
Strong understanding of the litigation lifecycle (“knows all the steps”)
Ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced, document-heavy environment
Strong collaborator with attorneys and legal team members

Schedule:

Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Fully in-office position
