Production Associate – Grinder / Finishing

💲 $17.00/hr | Full-Time | 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts Available 

Join a growing Georgetown manufacturer producing essential products for commercial, industrial, and technology environments across the country. We are hiring Production Associates to grind and finishing roles within a modern manufacturing setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined candidates who enjoy working with tools, creating finished quality products, and learning valuable production skills.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Grind and prepare metal materials for production and assembly
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with assembling manufactured components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Inspect work and maintain attention to detail
• Assist with production activities to maintain an efficient workflow
• Work with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other general manufacturing and production duties as needed

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of material grinding experience
• Sheet metal grinding or fabrication experience is a plus
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read or learn to interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and willing to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and train on additional production processes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to reach, bend, stretch, and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for an 8–10 hour shift
• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing and production environment
