Lot Attendant

Salary: $15.00/hr

Express is seeking a Lot Attendant for our client in Butler, PA!

 

Position Overview:

This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, assisting with equipment handling, facility upkeep, and general support tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight trucks
• Verify serial numbers, inspect for damage, and document issues (including photos)
• Load/unload transfer trucks and stage equipment
• Operate a forklift to move and organize equipment
• Keep storage areas organized, including tractors, attachments, and used equipment
• Maintain crates and wooden pallets for return to manufacturers/customers
• Monitor fuel levels (gas/diesel) daily and report when low
• Assist with unloading customer equipment for service

Facility & Grounds Maintenance:

• Keep shop, sales floor, parts department, and restrooms clean
• Empty trash and restock paper products/soap as needed
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and break down boxes
• Maintain outdoor grounds (mowing, weed trimming, debris removal)
• Keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice
• Maintain wash bay and cleaning pit as needed
• Assist service manager with shop cleanup and special projects

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
