Job Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with prior experience working in a busy office to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our client's office by providing exceptional administrative support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent multi-tasking and time management abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
This is a permanent evaluation-to-hire position.
Hours: 7:30am to 5:00pm
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls in a professional manner.
- Support sales, service, and finance departments.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate up-to-date records.
- Communicate effectively to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Support various administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility in handling multiple responsibilities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional certifications are a plus!
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist, or a similar clerical role is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong data entry skills with accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- CRM/ERP experience is preferred.
- Payroll, AP/AR, and service industry experience is a plus!
- Ability to complete work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- A positive attitude, professional and friendly demeanor, and strong customer service orientation are essential for success in this role.
