Inside Sales & Lead Generation Specialist

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales & Lead Generation Specialist to help expand our reach, strengthen customer relationships, and support continued growth in the commercial and industrial roofing market. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys both prospecting new business and nurturing existing accounts.


Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Pipeline Development

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, and social media outreach
  • Research commercial and industrial roofing markets to uncover potential contractor partners and project opportunities
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects within the CRM system
  • Initiate meaningful conversations using proven outreach strategies, product knowledge, and discovery questions
  • Schedule appointments and product demonstrations for Business Development and Outside Sales teams
  • Follow up on inbound and marketing-generated leads from tradeshows, webinars, and digital campaigns
  • Maintain consistent outreach activity to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals

Sales & Relationship Management

  • Retain and grow existing customer accounts through proactive engagement and exceptional service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries related to roof coating systems
  • Educate contractors and customers on products, systems, warranties, and application processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors to drive loyalty and increase sales volume
  • Prepare and deliver freight estimates and customized submittals based on project requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Outside Sales teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience
  • Track and document all customer interactions, sales activity, and project details within the CRM
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Manage inventory of product samples, literature, and packaging materials
  • Support credit-related processes and coordination with internal departments
  • Maintain accurate, real-time updates in the CRM system
  • Process contractor applications from submission through approval
  • Prepare and distribute contractor welcome kits, sample boxes, adhesion test kits, and branded materials

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of B2B sales or lead generation experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Ability to quickly learn industry products, competitors, and market trends
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal and presentation abilities
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and sales initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to achieve company objectives
