Welder – Class A & Class B

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Class A and Class B Welders to join a specialized manufacturing team producing high‑quality industrial process equipment. This role requires precision welding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in accordance with strict quality and safety standards.

Class A Welder – Responsibilities

• Perform advanced welding on carbon steel and stainless steel components
• Execute code‑quality welds (ASME / pressure vessel standards preferred)
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications
• Perform multi‑process welding (GTAW/TIG required; SMAW and GMAW a plus)
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain high quality, cleanliness, and documentation standards
• Support inspections such as visual, dye penetrant, and hydro testing
• Follow all safety procedures and quality control requirements

Class A – Qualifications

• Journeyman‑level experience or equivalent (5+ years preferred)
• Strong TIG welding proficiency
• Experience welding pressure‑containing or critical service components
• Able to pass welding qualification tests
• Familiarity with ASME or industrial fabrication standards

Class B Welder – Responsibilities

• Perform production welding under established procedures
• Weld carbon steel and stainless steel components per drawings
• Assist Class A welders on complex assemblies
• Prepare materials (fit‑up, grinding, cleaning)
• Conduct visual inspections of own work
• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Class B – Qualifications

• 2–4 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• TIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to read basic blueprints and weld symbols
• Willingness to advance skills and certifications
