Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for pulling, kitting, and moving materials to the appropriate departments to support production. This role ensures accurate inventory transactions in the ERP system and helps maintain material flow throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Move materials using a forklift and other equipment as needed
• Pull and kit materials based on daily job requirements
• Perform ERP transactions to maintain accurate inventory and schedules
• Conduct cycle counts as directed
• Read routings and blueprints to ensure materials go to the correct department
• Communicate with Engineering and Purchasing to resolve material issues
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain quality standards
• Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in material handling and manufacturing preferred
• Basic computer skills and ERP experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs periodically and stand/walk up to 8 hours per day

Compensation & Schedule

• Full-time, day shift
• Pay range: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
