Maintenance Technician

Salary: $26.00 – $28.00/hour

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a local company in Dubuque. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills looking for a stable, long-term role.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately 1 week every 7–8 weeks

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility setting
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, or technical documents
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
