Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking qualified and motivated candidates for Firewatch/Laborer openings in Harris, MN. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety‑focused, reliable, and interested in supporting metal fabrication and welding operations in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM Pay Frequency: Weekly Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire Location: Harris, MN

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor welding and cutting operations to ensure safe working conditions

• Maintain firewatch duties, including identifying sparks, slag, or potential ignition hazards

• Assist welders and fabricators with general labor tasks as needed

• Perform shop cleanup, material handling, and basic prep work

• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazard‑control protocols

Qualifications

• Previous industrial, construction, or labor experience preferred

• Strong awareness of safety practices and ability to remain alert during long periods of monitoring

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

• Willingness to work around welding, grinding, and fabrication processes

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work overnight hours consistently
