A company delivering comprehensive branding solutions, from specialty printing to customized packaging is seeking a Komori Press Operator to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary: We are seeking an experienced, quality-driven Komori Press Feeder / Press Operator to support high-speed, multi-color Komori press operations. This role is responsible for press makeready, sheet feeding, and ensuring all output meets strict quality and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform makeready and efficiently feed sheets for multi-color, high-speed Komori printing presses.
- Run a variety of substrates including paper, board, foil, and plastic with precision and consistency.
- Monitor press performance to ensure high-quality output and adherence to production standards.
- Troubleshoot feeding and press-related issues in real time to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on press equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating or feeding Komori or similar offset printing presses.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of lifting, stacking, bending, and carrying materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Experience using pallet jacks and handling production materials safely.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
